Through 2011 we have seen a trend beginning to emerge, one that will probably pass into the new year. That trend is the use of silver in rings, over the more traditional gold or platinum varieties.
What started this new look is probably less to do with fashion, and more to do with the financial crisis. Couples have been finding ways to keep the old traditions alive, while still saving money for the future ahead.
The value of these rings at cost might be low, but there are some truly elegant looking bands that have been created for people who want something beautiful on a budget.
Just this week, JustMensRings.com announced a new line of silver sings, all under $200, with some as low as $27.95.
Amazon has a number of beautiful silver women's bands, as well as some incredible antique sets for very low prices through their site.
What do you think about this trend? Would you settle for a silver ring if it meant having more for the wedding or honeymoon?
