Sister Sister star, Tia Mowry, 29, wed actor, Cory Hardrict, 28, in an extravagant Santa Barbara ceremony last weekend. Her rep revealed that the wedding took place at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore in front of 180 of their closest friends and family. The event was long overdue; Hardrict proposed in 2006 on Christmas morning.

Mowry, decked out in a Kevan Hall couture gown, made her grand entrance to the song “For You” performed live by R&B singer Kenny Lattimore. Following the 30 minute outdoor nuptials, guests retreated into the Four Seasons ballroom for h’ors douerves and drinks while listening to music played by DJ Michael Hayes.

The reception, which lasted well into the night, was a breathtaking success. Mowry worked closely with bridal consultant, Robyn Goldberg, and florist, Jennifer Katz, to create a romantic and intimate atmosphere. The end result was an escape into Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream. The reception tables were adorned with tall iron centerpieces covered in moss and pink flowers, and the air was filled with the soft flicker of candlelight. Mowry’s twin sister, Tamera, filled the role as the maid of honor in a Tadashi aubergine gown.

Goldberg became as much a part of the wedding as any other family member present. In an interview with People Magazine she stated, “You can tell they’re really in love. Hardrict wanted the wedding to be her dream come true.” After dinner, guests feasted on a red velvet cake designed by Cake Divas.

Mowry was first known for her teenage role in the WB show Sister, Sister opposite Tamera. Since then, she’s landed a few small parts in both tv shows and featured films. Some of her most memorable roles: a cheerleader in The Hot Chick, and a character role in the CW show The Game.

Although new to Hollywood, Hardrict is also busy pursuing fame and fortune on the big screen. Over the last few years he’s starred in Lincoln Heights, Heroes, K-Ville, and Return of the Living Dead.
