British actor, Sean Bean, 48, finally married long-time girlfriend, Georgina Sutcliffe, 29, in a small civil service in London at 11:00am on February 19th. According to Bean the pair had been dating for a “long” time; however, he refrained from mentioning any of the wedding details to People Magazine.

This wedding is a fourth for Bean, once voted “The Sexiest Man Alive” in 2004 by the UK.  Prior to meeting Sutcliffe, he was involved in 3 rather unsuccessful marriages. He first tied the knot with high-school sweetheart, Debra James; next was actress Melanie Hill; followed by a short-lived union with co-star Abigail Cruttenden. Bean has nothing to show for these previous impulsive marriages other than 3 beautiful daughters: Lorna, Molly, and Evie.

It seems that the Sheffield-born sex symbol has difficulty settling down – in fact, he called off wedding plans with Sutcliffe 24 hours before they were supposed to walk down the aisle! Apparently the couple had intentions to wed a month ago, but Bean put their plans on a temporary hiatus due to “personal issues.”

Despite his obvious reluctance to enter into yet another lifelong commitment, he finally consented to a small no-frills ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall. It was rumored that 15 of their closest friends and family attended, of which also included Sean's 3 daughters. Bean wore a blue two-piece pin-stripe suit, while the bride wore a cream top paired with a black pencil skirt and carried a small bouquet of white roses.

The only picture that the tabloids were able to catch was when the happy couple kissed on the steps outside of the registry's office. Before climbing into a London taxi, Bean told a Telegraph reporter that he felt “fantastic.”

Both Bean and Sutcliffe are thespians of sorts; however Bean has a much more prominent name in the entertainment industry.  He managed to crack his way straight to the heart of Hollywood after playing the role of Boromir in Peter Jackson's, Lord of the Rings. Since then, he's been cast in a wide range of big-screen blockbusters, such as: Troy, National Treasure, The Island, Silent Hill, and North Country. During the transition from small-time actor to the Hollywood A-list, he returned back home to London to pursue a role in an on-stage production of Macbeth alongside actress Samantha Bond. Just last year he was featured in two play adaptations: Come like Shadows and Oscar Wilde's A Woman of No Importance.
