According to Pagesix.com, the recently engaged couple are in a rush to get hitched due to an unexpected pregnancy. Josh Duhamel, 35, proposed to Stacy Ann Ferguson, 32, just last Christmas. The pair already owns a $5 million dollar pad together which they are constantly decorating. Fergie told the press, “We go running around the house like little kids, putting things in different places.” In fact, as she tours around the world, she buys knickknacks and furniture for their abode and ships them back to California.

Could it be that Fergie and Duhamel are getting the nest ready for a new baby? Pregnancy rumors began to circulate after the couple attended a pre-Grammy party thrown by Clive Davis at the Beverly Hills Hilton. According to an insider, the pop star was trying her best to conceal the fact that she's in an expectant state. “She picked up a wedding dress while she was in New York for Fashion Week and wants to move the wedding up so she is married before the bump becomes too obvious.”

Although she openly denies the gossip surrounding her upcoming wedding, it was noticed by many guests that Fergie drank water only at Clive's Grammy bash. Despite this and other observations, Fergie continues to negate the Hollywood hearsay. “We are not moving up the wedding,” she stated a few weeks ago. She went on to further comment, “I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they're pregnant.”

Fergie must be unaware of other celebrity marriages going on right in her neighborhood. Currently, there are more star couples tying the knot with a bun in the oven than not. This alarming increase in famous children born out of wedlock surely has society quick to believe in something less than the romantic ideal.

However, Fergie's mother also rejected the rumor. She pointed out to People Magazine that Fergie's stomach was as flat as a board at the Grammy's. “Did you see her?” she asked the reporter. “Skinny, skinny, skinny.” Although we can't discredit the fact that both Fergie's rep and mother are both saying “no,” L.A. obstetrician, Dr. Nguyen, says that if Fergie had gotten pregnant within the last month, she probably won't start to show until March.

Now it's just a waiting game. In the meantime, Fergie is working up excitement for her daughter who also got engaged to her long-time boyfriend. When asked whether or not she was eager for grandchildren, Fergie says she's not in a hurry. She wants her daughter to enjoy her life and put plans on starting a family of her own on the side until she's ready.
